Yeah, to conquer the issue of distance in our new school division, we have all been issued Segways! Just kidding - it's from a Segway City Tour of Atlanta I was on. I figure the photo is appropriate for a techie-type network such as this.

These are a few questions spinning about after listening to discussion around the removal of TSL services by the Ministry of Learning:

1. Are we strengthening learning opportunities within our divisions if we are dependent on services offered beyond our regions?
2. Do school divisions need to assume more responsibility for accommodating learning needs that cannot be met through traditional classroom settings?
